Brian Regan Has Been on the Comedy Scene for a Long Time! See Why During This Performance

Not many comedians have been continuously doing stand-up as long as Brian Regan. In a modern world filled with comedians tackling adult and profane subjects, Regan has kept his act clean, making him one of the only stand-up comedians appropriate for kids (kids that like stand-up anyway). He's characterized by his biting observational humor, goofy voices, and trademark squint. Brian has been touring almost continuously since 2005, with over eighty shows a year. Brian Regan is back again with a 2011 tour, chock full of modern material, including sets about getting old; something his comedy will never do.

Brian Regan broke onto the mainstream stand-up scene in 1992 when he appeared on The A-List. The talented comedian soon earned his first televised special, Something's Wrong with the Regan Boy, in 1992. In 1995, Brian began appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman, which would continue throughout his career and would garner him significant exposure. Brian Regan also appeared as himself on the popular Comedy Central animated series Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist around the same time he released a cd of his stand-up, aptly titled Brian Regan Live.

A milestone for many comedians came for Brian in 2000 when he became one of the earlier stand-up comedians to be featured on Comedy Central Presents. Regan struck a huge deal with Comedy Central in 2007, part of which included the comedian performing two-hour long, televised stand-up specials that would be released on DVD. The deal also included performing a stand-up theater tour, which began on June 8, 2007. The first televised performance was one of the first shows on the tour and was titled Standing Up. The second special was filmed almost a year later, entitled Epitome of Hyperbole; both specials ended up selling considerably well.

Since 2011, Brian Regan has been extensively touring, and this year is no exception. With Brian Regan constantly on tour, fans who are interested in going to see him should check Eventful soon, as he's not in once place for long.
